Level: Fingerstylists or flatpickers, workshop participants should be at intermediate and above playing level. Bring guitars, guitar accessories (including bottleneck slide if you have one), your enthusiasm, and your questions. Audio recorders encouraged, no video cameras please.
Cost: $65.00 per session or $120.00 for both.
Fee includes admssion to Mike Dowling concert at 8:00 p.m. in the Studio.

Class Descriptions
Session I: 9:00 - 12:00 noon
Bottleneck Blues and Beyond: Explorations in D and G tunings. Enrich your repertoire in this technique class while learning how to incorporate the slide to add color and texture to your music.Break for lunch: 12:00 - 1:30 (restaurants nearby)
Session II: 1:30 - 4:30 p.m
Rhythm's Where It's At: Sharpen your ears, tighten your timing, and broaden your playing horizons with effective techniques for playing classic swing, jump blues, and infectious boogie woogies.Level: Fingerstylists or flatpickers, workshop participants should be at intermediate and above playing level. Bring guitars, guitar accessories (including bottleneck slide if you have one), your enthusiasm, and your questions. Audio recorders encouraged, no video cameras please.
